We are always looking for new recruits!

We parade every Tuesday Night 6:30PM-9:00PM

Our Training year typically  runs from September to June, with stand downs during Christmas, spring  and summer breaks.

WHO CAN JOIN? To join army cadets, applicants must:rcaccadets

  • To be eligible for membership as a Cadet one must:

    1. be a legal resident of Canada:
      NOTE: A legal resident of Canada is a Canadian citizen, a landed immigrant, or, the dependant of a person who is lawfully resident in Canada on a temporary basis for the purpose of education or employment.
    2. be at least 12 years of age and not have attained 19 years of age;
    3. provide proof of provincial health insurance coverage or equivalent;
    4. not belong to another corps or squadron.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS The necessary forms will be provided when you arrive. All prospective cadets must bring the following documents. Proof of medical insurance or a health card (see below)

  • Proof of health insurance: (only 1 required)
  • Provincial or Territorial health insurance card (BC MSP); or
  • private insurance (ie. Blue Cross) card.

Proof of age documentation (see below) Proof of age: (only 1 required)

  • a birth certificate issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or federal government agency

Government Issued Picture Identification Government Identification Includes: Canadian-Passport(only 1 required)

  • a valid Canadian passport;
  • a British Columbia Identification Card/Enhanced Identification Card;
  • a drivers licence or enhanced licence; or any identification card (with a photo) issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or federal government agency.

A Cadet

  • is expected to participate in cadet activities and follow regulations, orders and instructions;
  • is expected to take good care of all items of clothing and equipment issued to them, to safeguard and return the clothing and equipment when requested to do so;
  • is expected to conduct themself in a manner that is respectful of others;
  • may end their membership with the cadet corps/squadron at any time;
  • may be expelled from the cadet corps/squadron if they commit a serious breach of conduct; and
  • is no longer eligible to be a member of a cadet corps/squadron when they turn 19 years old.
